Why won't my HP Pavilion g6 charge or power on?

I plugged it in for 24 hours and it still won't turn on.

I took it to Best Buy yesterday and they confirmed that the adapter and battery are working appropriately. They said it would be cheaper to buy a new one, is this true?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Try a hard reset as it may help with this issue. Remove the battery, charger, and any other devices connected to the unit. Hold the power button for 30-60 seconds. Reinsert the battery, the charger and attempt to power it on.

Not being able to turn computer on or see the charging light on is little nerve racking taking the battery out, unplugging the charger and holding the power button for about 45 seconds fixed it thank you cheers

Thinking it pins Or internal connection. I know this is older model and Best Buy will charge like 150.00 to look at but I would like it to work

thinking of looking inside. Any advice?
