Home button stops working. I've replaced flex, and still doesn't work.

Hello everybody,

I dropped my phone a couple of times and my home button stopped working, at the beginning it was just for a moment but after a restart it worked again, but since last drop it stops working for good.

I replaced the flex, but it still doesn't work.

I have touched (short) the two pins over the speaker box with the screwdriver, and nothing happened.

What do you think it could be? or What should I do next?

Which flex did you replace? The one on the screen or the one with the two pins on it?
