Motherboard Connections To Frame

I broke the motherboard connections on the top of the iPhone 5 motherboard that connect/screw into the phone frame. Would this make my phone not turn on? I think that this is the problem.

Those are part of the cellular antennas. Your signal will get worse but your phone should still work.
