Usb audio drop out, mouse freeze after liquid spill logic board repair

Hello!

Had a liquid spill sometimes ago.

I sent the logic board for repair, put everything back together, computer is working, but when i connect a firewire drive, I loose my usb soundcard (using traktor mixing program), or the mouse freeze for some seconds, and program freeze also, and un freeze, but after everything is erratic and slow until i restart.

i can play a few songs before it starts happening, but some week ago i could play 2 hours, than one hour, now after 5-10 min it starts and loose my soundcard completely with sound artefacts

I can browse online, email, everything works ok, but after a while the computer gets kinda slow

the laptop seems hot also, installed a temp monitor and it's 69-to 72 degrees, normal?

I'm wondering if the logic board was not properly repaired or liquid damage affected the usb/firewire or other parts

also, if my external drive is connected firewire, and i unplug a usb, or plug in headphones or unplug, I get the message that my firewire external disk was not properly ejected

I'm thinking about buying a new logic board

what do you guys think?

i

Answer this question I have this problem too

It seems like your logic board wasn't properly repaired when you sent it in. You can either get a new one to replace your current one or buy a new laptop and sell this one for parts.

Also, the temperatures are within acceptable levels, Intel processors can reach up to 95C before they begin to thermal throttle.
