What causes battery drain so quickly

So I bought second-handed nexus 5. Checked everything, like new. Then I started to notice that battery drains really quickly while using, like 1% every 1min. Then ordered replacement battery, replaced, but result was the same. What can cause this? Also phone heats up next to camera while using. Dunno what to do.
