I'm trying to open the laptop casing with a ph#00 screwdriver. Managed to open 3 screws but the rest are super tight. They even scraped (is this the right word?) the tip of my screwdriver, rendering the screwdriver useless.
I'm guessing the swelling battery inside pushed the case outwards, tightening the screws . Is there any other way to open the case?

Reinstall the screws that will come out to take the pressure off the ones that won't and then try getting them out. Mark the screws that will come out as you get them loose.
