Can I swap a CDMA antenna into a GSM phone.

I am switching from AT&T to Verizon and would like to keep my phone. I know that by unlocking the phone you can you LTE on both networks. But in order to get 2G and 3G you need the right antenna.

There is no need to swap any cables. There really aren't many difference in the newer GSM and CDMA phones. Simply unlock it

Not all models of iPhones support both networks. For example the 7 plus has a model A1784 that is only GSM network versus the A1661 that is compatable with GSM and CDMA. The A1784 model when unlocked will work on At&t and Tmobile but not Verizon or Sprint. Some models are specific to which network even when unlocked.
