How do I fix loose cellular antenna connection?

I discovered that my phone is stuck on searching all the time.. Occasionally there is some signal but it returns to searching after 10 to 15 minutes..! I have tried everything already including reseting the network settings, all settings, doing a hard reset, installing updates, restoring the system, trying different SIM-cards, etc.

However, I stumbled upon some suggestions that the cause might be a loose antenna after dropping the phone..! So I think the only solution is to exchange the cellular antenna or somehow repair it..? I have some experience on opening my iPhone since I changed the battery the other day... Thank you in advance for all your answers/suggestions!

Start by opening the iPhone, disconnecting the battery and removing the display assembly from it.

You will have to remove the logic board from the phone in order to perform this swap as it's located at the top of the phone and slided under the top of the board.

I've included a photo of what screws hold the antenna in place and where it is located.

I'd recommend following a Tear-Down tutorial to help you with this repair. Follow ESD guidelines and be careful with connectors while removing everything from there as it's quite fragile.

is there any way to find out if the antenna is really damaged before I spend 10 dollars on a new one?
