What part do I need to replace front facing camera mic?

When I use the front facing camera the playback sounds staticky and low! It's only when I record on the front facing camera so I know its the front mic that is the problem! I just am not sure what part it is that I need to order to fix the issue! Do I need to order the front face camera cam proximity Light Sensor Flex ribbon cable replacement part? Will that fix the mic problem?

when did the problem arise? Have you spilt any liquid on it? Took it in bathroom? Had it repaired?

Have you tried compressed air on it?

If this has happened for no reason, your device will still be under warranty.

It did get some rain on it a little bit and I think that's when the issue started! I don't think I have warranty on it cause my husband bought it unlocked off amazon. I've only had it a few months and the problem started a couple of days ago! I haven't tried the compressed air! If that doesn't work will replacing the part work?

Replacing it should work if using the compressed air doesn't fix it. You would need to order "Apple iPhone 6 (4.7") Front Camera with Proximity Sensor and Mic Flex".

Ok, try the compressed air first, if that doesn't work, you can try replace it with the part James mentioned above.

It depends who you bought it off on Amazon I guess, you could still try Apple, as all iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are not even 12 months old yet, meaning they would still be under Apple warranty, so they may either replace the part or replace the device itself, but they won't if they know it has been tampered with, they will just refuse you, so I would try them first, but if you mention the rain then they would probably class it as an out of warranty repair. :-)
