Options

installing 2 SSD drives by removing the optic drive

I have a latee 2011 MBP 2.4Ghz. Would like to install ( 2 )500MB SSD drives to create a RAID 0 setup. My goal is to increase storage, speed and reliability. Will my unit be able to with stand this?

Yes. I have done this many times in many machines, except I set up a fusion drive configuration which is similar.
