should the sim card snap into the iPhone 3GS tray.

when I insert the SIM card it does not snap in so if I turn the tray over it falls out. It seemed the sim card and tray I hadin my old iphone 3g, the card was held into the tray somehow. Do I need a new tray?

No, its fine. Just insert it into the phone. The old tray could have been just a hair smaller, or the sim card is slightly worn down now. Either way, it will still work.

I cannot activate the iphone and iTunes kept saying No SIM card. This was a new SIM card I purchased from ATT, so I guess it is the phone.
