I drop Gatorade on my iMac late 2013 retina display.I took it to Apple and they said they'll fix it $1400 is there any website or something that I can send it to for cheaper I do not want to pay so much money to fix my laptop might as well buy new I really need it for school please help

I appreciate wanting to get your newish MacBook fixed on the cheap. I have seen MacHales work on laptops and on spills. I would send it to him. It's nice these other techs like Rossmann Group, but by their own words they haven't seen their or used their services first hand. Your choice. Mayer has Rep of 324,000 for a reason. Just saying

What parts did Apple say they would be replacing? Has it dried out? How long ago was the spill? Has any attempt been made by you or Apple to turn it on? If so what were your results? How much liquid was spilled? Were the LSI activated? Is there corrosion on the logic board? What are the last four figures of your serial number?
