Why won't my MacBook turn on?

I closed my MacBook and it should have gone to sleep. Several times in a row, it shut down. After a few days, it miraculously healed itself and I could not replicate the problem. I left it for a few days when I went on vacation and when I returned, it did the same thing, only now it will not turn on at all.

I noticed you never got an answer to this. Are you still having this problem?

If the battery runs all the way down it will not start even with the MagSafe plugged in. Let it charge for an hour.

If the solutions that involve charging the battery and removing it while the power adapter do not work, try a PRAM reset. Hold Command+Option+P+R with the system off. Once you do this, the system will restart and then you can try again. Apple has an article on how to do this here. Apple has called it NVRAM on this article, but the procedure is no different.

The second thing to try is a SMC reset. Read this article from Apple on how to do it here.

Another possibility is the battery is damaged. It seems like these MacBooks are famous for poor quality batteries. If that doesn't fix it, replace the battery. That will fix 95% of these MacBooks with this problem that resetting the PRAM and SMC does not work on.

you can also try resetting it by taking out your battery disconnecting the power adapter from the laptop then pressing and holding the power button, after that just place you battery back in and hopefully it should start up...
