Screen flickering - how can I check the connection?

My display flickers and goes black occasionally since some liquid damage. It is infrequent and there are no other problems since the liquid incident, so I suspect it is just a connection issue, but I need help finding where the display cable connection is and how to check/clean it.

The full story:

Some liquid got on the back left of the laptop a month ago and the screen immediately went to black with bright coloured stripes. Left it turned off for 2 days and then tried it, had the same stripes on the screen but started up fine, and worked with an external monitor. On the 3rd day when I started up the screen was back like nothing had happened.

It worked as normal for 2 weeks, and then I started to have incidents where the screen starts flickering and then maybe will go black, but will be fine again if I come back an hour later. It seems to be worse when running on battery, if I connect the charger when it is flickering it often helps.

I suspect if it is possible to get in there and clean it a bit and make sure the display connection is good it will solve this.

I see similar questions have been asked but couldn't see it for this model. Also there are guides for display cable replacement for other laptops but not this one.

Thanks so much for any help.
