Need help making sure im downloading correct programs to jailbreak!

I have a itouch, 2nd generation 8GB, Im trying to jailbreak it. I dont know what i did, but the battery went dead, then i had the symbols of a battery and lighting bolt.I tried going to itunes and did the "restore" thing, but its not letting me access the itouch. I went to you tube, but im not sure which programs im suppose to download. Anybody that can ofer a suggestion or help, im in NEED!!!

what ios version do you use ? ios4 ?

is the ipod toucha MB or a MC model??

i would first try to charge the battery - it should be fully charged when you start flashing/jailbreaking it

do you have a windows or a mac computer?

i only used Sn0wbreeze and ultrasn0w - you can read more about that here
