Screen will not function no matter what

Hello, I have an iP;hone 4s that suddenly had the screen black out while being used, the vibrate still functions so I know the device still powers on. I have tried everything I have found so far, disconnect the battery for a harder reset, doing a Power + Home reset, and reconnecting the screen connectors. Nothing has worked. I even put a different screen on the phone and that did not work either. The connectors appear to be fine, no damage. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Cheeseman93, could be that the actual backlight has failed. Replace the display assembly and see if that fixes it. If it does not, you will have to take a closer look at the backlight circuitry on your logicboard. It is always possible that one of the backlight filters etc. has failed.

I think it might actually be a motherboard issue like you had said. I've done some pretty complicated repairs but reconfiguring an iphone motherboard is not one of them. I assume its more than your average soldering iron.

Just need a good microscope and a good soldering station. With a bit of practice on an old board, you can accomplish this too. I suffer from OPV (old people vision) and have the aging tremors, but still manage. Go for it...:-) Consider posting some images of your board from around the LCD connector. Lets see if we can spot something odd. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question to add images.
