Where are the magnets inside the metal back, mine fell out?

I bought a working, badly bent iPad Air. I hammered the case to straighten it, with the led removed. Three small magnets fell out from one side. I reassembled the iPad and everything works except for turning off and on with a magnetic outer case.

Also, how are the magnets aligned for polarity.
