CPU Shutting down immediately
my computer cpu is starting after pressing power button and stops immediately. why?

I had a laptop with this problem. I pressed the power button and it sound ok but in a few secs the whole system stopped without even turning on the screen! Anyway,They told me my motherboard was burned.
My laptop's mobo cost 400e,so i didn't acctually learnt if that was the cause.I suggest you show it to an expert.
