power but will not come on.

My 24" vizio quit working after discovering the HDMI jack was fried by lightning. Only got a "no signal" message. After hooking up with a component cable TV worked fine however, when I tried the HDMI again the TV suddenly quit. Once powered down, unplugged, reset etc., the only thing that comes on is the yellow vizio logo on the front but will not come on and turn white. No picture or sound. Is this easily and economically repairable.
