New hard drive not recognized after installation?
I installed a new hard drive fresh form the package...will not recognize it. Whats up with that?

a new hard drive isn't partitioned and formatted
start your imac from the setup disk -> after you powered on the computer - press and hold the C
the setup will now start and you can open the disk utility to prepare the hdd for the setup
