Unique case serial number on the case?

Hi, is it possible to have my MacBook's serial number engraved onto my lower plate? Or will the replacement case just come with a generic serial number? Is it possible to pay extra for the customization? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Do you have any idea how I'd go about finding one? I'm a bit in the dark.

You do know that your original serial number can be found in "about this Mac" under the Apple in the upper left hand corner?

Yes, of course. Sorry, I meant a vendor that sells the blank bottoms to an engraver. I don't know where to find an engraver or three wholesaler that sells the blank bottoms.

Hi,

The bottom case of the macbook already have your serial number. If you buy a third party bottom case it will either come with a random serial number or with no serial number. Hope this help.

Good Luck!
