My Charging Light Won't Turn Off

Hi. So i just bought a lenovo laptop a little over a month ago but a few says ago my light that turns on ONLY when it's charging or ONLY when it's low on battery won't turn off. It's always on and won't turn off unless the laptop is off. It's starting to annoy me especially when the charger is connected that same light starts to blink, which has never happened before. Is there a way to stop it or can i do nothing about it?
