greg, that is a pretty new phone and should still be covered under warranty. Disassembling it will ruin the warranty.

I just bricked mine by spilling a glass of water beside it. Kinda works after intervention (it has a non-removable battery) but not well enough for Blackberry to consider it repairable (not cost effective so buy a new one). OS 10 has internal software tests that BB Support had me go through. Passed most of them. When we tested the touch screen -painting the surface green - exposed that about 8-10 squares of the screen were no longer touch sensitive...

So I came here hoping to find out how to open the thing up. My warranty is void. The phone isn't functioning well enough to use all the keys on the dial pad... so wanted to see if I could isolate / fix anything.

Maybe I should be doing the teardown... not sure how - anyone ? And do I just pry off the back... don't want to break it....any more...

thx, B
