iPad 2 Model A1396 Broken screen with dented case

My iPad 2 fell off the counter and impacted the tile floor. The screen is cracked and I have also noticed that the corner of the case is dented. Any feedback on viability of replacing screen with the dented case corner would be helpful.

You would need to remove the dent before installing the new screen. There are specialist tools to do this but they are pretty expensive.

If the dent isn't that bad you should be able knock it back by using the end of a metal pry tool you get with most screens. Just gently hit the straight end with a hammer and the curved end should be more less the same as the iPad corners. It should therefore knock it back to a similar shape.

Changing the plastic dust guard that runs around the edge would probably help as well.
