just mid of center.
Tried cleaning and reset fan and management system.
Can not do aht.
It is still there but different in that now it is fine until I adjust lid.
Cables looked okay.
It is a macbook air mid 2011.

Is that indicative of anything cpu or logic board?

Avery, If it is a single line going vertical it is most likely a Tab error on your LCD. there is not a whole lot that you can fix, other than replacing the LCD. It will help if you tell us your exact model and year or give us the last four digits of your computers serial number. That will help us to find more information about your particular computer.

macbook air mid 2011. djwv. reset management system but can not do aht. Cleaned the innards and installed fan control, it seems to help.
Could it be something with the heat sink? why won't the hardware test finish? hmm. I'm in P.V. Mexico and it' hard to get to an apple store.
A tab error will not show up in your AHT. Since it is a single line, unlikely that it is anything else but a bad LCD.
