Problems with battery, backlight and screen

I need some help with my HTC desire 300

  • The touch screen doesn't work on a small side of the screen
  • in certain positions the backlight doesnt work. when i bend my phone it seems to work and when certain pressure is applied to the back of the phone
  • my phone is also no long charging and started shutting down randomly

Options

Sounds typical of water damage, but it could be a number of things. A loose or damaged flex cable might cause some of the problems, but if I was working on it I'd start by looking for signs of moisture on the motherboard. Further diagnosis would require opening the phone and inspecting it.
