HELP! Screen Color is Negative! (Not Ctrl-Alt/Opt-Apl-8)

Hi, I recently replaced the screen for my MacBook (A1181) after I dropped it and the display panel cracked. Shortly after doing so, my screen would go negative when the display would be moved or adjusted; however,I noticed that the display will return to its typical color if I apply constant pressure to the top left corner of the display. I know this is not a graphics card issue as I have connected it to other monitors and I do not experience the same problem when doing so. So basically, what I am asking is what part, if necessary, needs to be replaced? Furthermore, I believe it may be the screen, as I was cheap and bought a used one and I am asking this question just to make sure. Thanks in Advance.

Did you buy from a reputable seller like iFixit or an eBay special?

Theres nothing particularly interesting in the upper left corner of the MAcbook besides the Airport Antennae, so I would have to say you were sold a faulty display.

Im not sure if a faulty Data Cable can cause this. Did you replace the Data Cable as well?

I know this is an old post but I am also experiencing some similar issues to my macbook. I want to know if I need to replace the whole LCD or if I can replace an Inverter or a different display component. I have some photos of the broken mac next to a fully functional mac.

Here are some more pics of the back of the LCD. Do you think that it is possible to clean the corroded spots to restore the image of the screen?
