Which could be the problem with my iPhone 5c lcd connectors?

Okay so so i need help determining on what could be the problem with my iphone 5c. one day i was replacing the home button on the phone. Once i finished replacing it and once i turn on the phone the screen doesn't turn on. I had no idea what made it mess up like that. I looked up reviews and it told me the lcd connector is damaged so i would have to replace the screen. And on the other hand other reviews tell me one of the pins on the lcd connector could be damaged (which is a whole nother problem to deal with). Good news is the iphone responds when its conected to itunes.....it vibrates and makes sounds. It vibrates every 5-10 seconds. i was thinking could that be a sign to just get a replacement screen? Im still debating on buying one because that might not even be the problem.

So is there any advice you have for me? Anybody had the same problem? please let me know.

P.s- The phone also heats up on the top right corner (near the camera) and drains the battery, i figured i just need a replacement battery, but maybe not, please let me know!! Thanks

It could be one thing, it could be a combination of things. You say you replaced the home button, so somewhere along the line of you opening the phone you might have accidentally damaged the connector or the pins.

My advice would be to take it into an Apple store and see what they tell you. Though you may have voided your warranty. Otherwise, you can order a replacement screen and connect it yourself.
