Speaker and volume buttons broke?

I've had trouble with my front camera for a couple days but yesterday I dropped my phone and now when I plug my headphones into the port it recognizes them but doesn't play (yes I've tried different headphones etc) and also my top speaker of my phone isn't working which means I have to put my phone on speaker to make calls etc MASSIVE inconvenience. Also my volume controlled buttons are not working either. Any help would be fab!

P.S. Unrelated but my camera has a purple tint on when in dark light any tips apart from changing ISO and how difficult to replace a HTC One battery? THANKS

Since it was dropped, I need to ask if there is any damage to the housing around where the volume buttons are?

If Yes: then the volume down button internally is probably stuck or damaged making the volume in the headphones not work.

If No: then the drop may have just damaged the headphone jack. does the volume up or down work when the device is in speaker mode?

As far as changing the battery, its been a while since I worked on one. Does it have a backplate that comes off to where you can get to the battery?

If NO: then it is slightly difficult to get to an internal battery on a smartphone, you would have to fully disassemble it.

If Yes: then its just as simple as replacing a battery in a remote, just pop off the back plate and pull the battery out and replace with a OEM new battery.

No I have a case so it protected the buttons, however I don't know this for sure so I will try that thanks!

Yes the battery does need to be dismantled I'll probably get a shop to do it for me thank you!
