Can Adhesive Tape for Digitizer Bezel be Re-used?

Getting ready to replace my cracked digitizer on my 2nd gen touch and was wondering if I need to buy new adhesive tape to install it or can I just re-attach it to the original tape? Thanks for your help!

No. You need to replace it. The tape is basically destroyed once you break the seal.
