My Sleep/Wake button doesn't work

My iPhone 5 qualifies for free repair at the Apple Repair. Do they usually fix it considering, according to your repair guide, you basically have the tear apart the phone to replace the Sleep/Wake/Power button?

Or give you a refurbished one?

I had one myself which the power button didn't work, so as it was under warranty, took it into

my local Apple store, and they didn't even know what the power flex cable was. So walked out and changed it myself.

I think over here in UK, they get sent away for more in depth repairs?
