Screw fixing the mother board of MacBookAir 13"

Hi,

While putting back the motherboard, I screwed too strongly the extreme left screw close the Thunderbold and USB connectors, so the head has broken.

I think it will work without this screw while the main part of the scew is left in the case hole.

Do you advise anything to do ? a small spot of strong glue on the hole place ?

thank you for your support

Regards,

Claude

GIRAUD, leave well enough alone. The moment you start messing around with glue, it turns into a mess. If you really want to fix it, remove the board and either try to grab the left over screw with a pair of good pliers, or use a screw extractor.

Thank you for the tips. I will not use glue then...it makes sense.

I have checked on iFixit the kits of screw extractor and pliers.

So far, I think it will work fine without this screw.
