How to fully restart my iPod

I have an Ipod touch 5th generation and at one point i disabled it and decided to restart it to the white screen that says "hello" like when you first buy the ipod, except that this time when it asks me for an icloud account it wants me to put my old icloud account it wont let me put any other account but my old one ( i put my password in but since it got disabled before it tells me that i cant log in and start up my ipod because it was disabled) i want to know if theres a way to restart my ipod fully to the point where it no longer asks me to put in my old icloud but to put in any icloud account i want. ive gone to the apple store and tried backing it up to my computer but none of those choices have been successful.

Jenny,

If your iPod is iCloud locked like it seems to be, there is no way to by-pass the activation unlock.

Meaning, you HAVE to input the old iCloud account and password like you call it.

Once done, and the iPod starts normally, you can go to Settings>iCloud>Sign Out to input your iCloud username password again and remove the "old" account from the iPod.
