HDD Heat Sensor Issue

Hi, I replaced my 1tb hdd with seagate 2tb sshd and now the fan is going flat out. I changed it back to the old hdd and still the same issue. Please help. I replace the cable sensor the same way, still issues.

I don't recommend software solutions to control the fan's as they are not dynamic enough. You either end up killing your fan or overtime you overheat the system. Both are expensive repairs that if you correctly ID the problem wouldn't be needed.

Macs Fan Control is a great program. It tamed my fan when it was blaring. Just open it and set a speed and it'll slow that thing down.
