iMac will not go past apple logo at start up
Why won't imac modelA1200 not boot past apple logo screen.

Sorry, I missed this one. Try starting up from your original system disk. Insert disk and restart holding down the "C" key. Run Disk Utilities and see if the hard drive can be repaired.
