New screen unresponsive on iPhone 4S

I recently replaced my cracked screen and the new screen was totally unresponsive to touch. So I took it back out and put the old screen back. Now the old screen is unresponsive. I've done this before several times with no problem. I made sure the delicate cables were undamaged as has been suggested by other answers to the same problem. What else can I try? Anyone have any ideas?

Answer this question I have this problem too

have you tried restoring? if not you may have damaged the ic coil on the motherboard that controls the touch. . You may need to contact someone who can fix motherboard problems !

Also make sure the connectors are seated properly and plugged in right .
