Why Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is not start up?

My mobile phone is not startup.

When it starts, a red screen of droid logo comes up and then the mobile still there and not moving forward to Home Screen.

As it hangs up...

Assist please.

Options

Try holding the power button and the volume down, it'll go to a recovery screen, from there it might let you do a factory reset. The touch screen will not work in this special menu so use the volume buttons to move up and down and the power button to select.
