regina, if the transmission fluid level in your Accord is low, you need to add transmission fluid through the dipstick tube. Check on here how to check. I prefer to not check it with the engine running due to the dipstick location. Get the engine to operating temperature, park the vehicle on level ground, turn it off and then check.

Would anybody like to recommend locating and possibly repairing a leak, there are some seals that would require the transmission to be taken out so not all are easily repaired. I spray the transmission completely with Engine degreaser GUNK, let it sit for a little while and hose is all off. Then for the next few drives keep an eye out for leaks, may need to jack it up each time to get a good view, be safe always. Running low on fluid cannot be a good thing.
