Repair/Disassembly Guide for VCR Section-Tape Guides Stuck

I have a Magnavox ZV450MW8. The DVD Section works fine. VCR tape does not install properly. Tape guides are stuck and do not return to "Park" position when tape is ejected.

Try unplugging it for 5 minutes to see if it will reset when plugged back in.

Thank you, Mayer. Unfortunately, this did not work. It seems to be a mechanical problem , since the cassette won't fully load in and down and the tape guides are hung up about halfway up their channels. I'm anxious to get the deck out completely to inspect the gearing, belts, etc. Any assistance with this would be gratefully appreciated, since Magnavox does no longer have a replacement deck assembly.
