Regularly losing satellite connection

For the past two months my Garmin nuvi 3590 LMT regularly loses satellite connections when driving why is this?

Instead of regular USB charger, you may prefer to use the charger that comes with antenna receptor. If you are using the original charger built in antenna receptor, and still the same issue, you can circle the cable 3 times over to the GPS stand to make an antenna loop that will strengthen the reception and the device will not lose signal frequently.

By the way, if you have not upgraded to the latest firmware, please do so by plugging the device to your computer. If you never connected to a computer, you may need to download the GPS application first. You can download it from Germin website. This is the link for you.

Garmin Nuvi 65LM - same problem. While driving always Lost Satellite Reception. Already did hard reset but still the same. Please help.

Stumbled into this searching for solutions to a similar problem. Although this is quite old, for the benefit of anyone else searching as I am, I just needed to comment.

The original charging cable that puru thinks is an "antenna receptor" is, in fact, an antenna. But one for traffic. It does nothing to enhance your satellite reception. Nor does looping the cable three times. That's just nonsense.

Updating the firmware is there only useful advice on this topic so far.
