Why did my screen go black?

i was using my phone all morning and it was working perfectly fine, i did some cleaning and showered and came back out to my phone on the couch where i left it , i tried double tapping the screen to turn it on but nothing, i tried hitting the power button and its just black, like its dead.. but the notification light is blinking because i got a text i heard it go off... on the back if i hit the power button it lights up, i tried holding it down and nothing. my screen is just black and wont budge. any idea how to fix it?

LG G2 have some really odd screen issues.

My friends LCD fades to white over time when on because of poor design of the LCD FLex. It runs on the frame of the phone making a short.

My LG G2 has ghost touching for no reason.

Its easy to take apart if you want to pull the battery connector then reinstall it.

how do i pull the battery connector if the back wont come off?

The back does come off. Just take a thin plastic pick or something and slide it between the back cover and the frame. It has little snap pieces that will release

Remove the connector from the battery that plugs into the main board. Then plug it back in and reboot the phone see if the screen returns. If it does then their may be an issue with the screen.
