I bought an iFixit 5c phone kit, followed the you tube video, replaced the battery; my battery was failing before, would barely hold charge for an hour maybe. After closing everything back up, and setting it to charge, the battery's power was exhausted after about the same amount of time as my old battery that I've had since purchase that was failing. What's the deal?

Hi,
It's possible you could have been supplied a faulty battery.
Or it could be a U2 IC chip problem if it is still draining very quickly, as this is one of the symptoms of it, although there are other symptoms which are worse.
