something caught under basket & rubber seal in front of door

Loud noise when Kenmore HE2plus washer spinning . When you pull back the bottom of the rubber seal around the door you can see something under the metal basket . I tried to grab it with squeeze fingers & a magnet but it is a small opening . Is there any way to pull the rubber seal back a little so I can get to the metal part & pull it out ? It makes a lot of noise & do not want to cause damage to the basket or tub ..
