iPhone 4s not turning on or charging

I was using my iPhone 4s throughout the day and then when i went to unlock it few hours later it wont turn on or charge. When i plug the charger nothing happen except the left side of the phone gets hot. I have tried holding the power and home button many time but didn't do anything. Please help

Hey dillon4000, try to replace the battery. If it's not charging replacing the battery will help.

do you mean buy a new one or just take out and put back in the old one

You never mentioned that you had an old battery or a battery replaced previously. If the old battery worked before replace it with the one you have now. If it didn't work before, purchasing a new battery would be the fix.

oh no i was talking about the battery that came with the phone i dont have any other batter. Anyway i have ordered and new battery which will come on monday i will let you know if it works

i went to a repair shop and they replaced the battery didnt work, replaced the lcd screen didnt work and then said the power management IC was broken.
