HP Photosmart 7515 Cartridges won't align not printing out documents

I have run all tests, has ink but shows no ink in regular black. Cartridge insertion felt 'mushy' when trying new ink.

Alignment of cartridges "failed"...3 tries. Noisy/thumping with movement to install new cartridge, or anything else.
