Hi Najala,
Unfortunately we don't have a guide for that particular repair. There are some youtube videos about cleaning printer encoders, you could watch some of those and try to pull apart your printer and make it work. If you do, think about making a guide for it!
Here's one video, but you'll have to disassemble the printer on your own. You could try looking for other printer guides or guides for other appliances to get an idea of where to start!

Well, flatulent's have been known to clean the body. After studying flatulent's we know by simply placing the cable in your back pocket will clean the encoder strip right quick!
Here's how it works! Remove the cable, wipe it so it isn't laden with any lithiumglutomate grease (used on many electrical computing cables), place it in your back pocket but place the back pocket where your gas hole is and fire!
What you have at the end is nothing but clean!
