Just replaced the battery, not charging. What's up?

Just replaced the battery and now the phone won't charge. everything was done according to the video. What could it be?

Hey murphy11, it could be a faulty battery or a mistake during the reassembly and dis assembly of the device. I'd recommend you to redo the installation (with your same battery) just to confirm if it was a mistake or a faulty battery.

Already tried that. When it's plugged in the apple icon will show up for a couple seconds and then it goes off. It keeps doing that. Changed out the battery yesterday and everything worked great. It was on charge all night. Now today, it's doing this. ????

I put the old battery back in and it's working so it must have been the new battery that was causing the problem.
