iPhone 4s boot loop after a drop

I had bought a faulty iphone 4s of ebay thinking that the screen was broken silly me on opening the phone alot of the screws were missing and battery would not hold charge. As i had another iphone 4s with a write off logic board (battery connector ripped off and icloud) i swapped out of the the battery, logic board, camera and power button from the ebay bought one with the icloud locked one. What i didnt realise was the screen was fine just a crack on glass and the phone from ebay had some other fault to it as it was dropped according to description.

My problem is that the phone does not power on it will get to the apple logo before turning off and does not power back on untill power button is pressed again. I have tried putting it in recovery and dfu mode to restore with no avail. I keep getting error -1, so there may be a problem with the baseband ic or baseband itself. But i am hoping to fix this without soldring a new chip (but if i really have to where can i get the chips from). Is there a way to preserve the baseband and just update the firmware i have read that may help. Also i have used redsnow to get as much info about the firmware as i can but in dfu mode the info is gibberish to me.

I am avoiding soldering etc as i am not that experienced with it yet and do not have the tools for it either.
