After replacing the screen on my Macbook (2006 model), it flickers

My screen is flickering and scrolling after being replaced. Soon after replacement (I replaced it with a LG screen), the screen was fine and everything checked out. But within the hour (I didn't use the Macbook during this time, it was charging)...when I opened the Macbook to start work, the screen was just randomly scrolling and flickering!! Help!! I can't spend more money buying yet another screen....what could have gone wrong?

Chosen Solution

1. You have a loose connection, check this by opening and closing the macbook. If there are changes in the intervals of flickering you may just need to check your internal connections.

2. The Display Data Cable is damaged. (Causes Screen Defects, its possible you damaged this with the LCD replacement.)

- You can check this cable by looking for cracks or tears in it.

3. Your old LCD was fine and you have a bad Display Inverter.(Unless it was cracked, Please specify why you replaced the screen.)

3. You have a bad replacement LCD. (If its bad it could cause flickering.)

4. Give us a little more information about your macbook model, and what you have attempted so far.

Good Luck, and be sure to give us some feedback.
