I need help disassembling my Ps3 model: CECHG01

I skipped step 19 because my model didnt have those clips. I also could not find my memory car reader. I have an idea of what it is but i'll wait on some advise before i do anything. I also skipped steps 22-23 thinking i didnt have the memory card. Lastly i was able to get to step step 27 but i couldnt lift the motherboard off of the heat sink. it appears to be held stuck by small metal parts.

That is not your memory card it is your wifi card...carefully disconnect the ribbon cable and remove the screws. Then remove the ribbon cable from your motherboard both by lifting the colored tabs. Once this is out of the way remove the optical drive ribbon cable from the MB the same way. Then if you've already disconnected the fan cable from the bottom of the unit, you can push the clip on the front in to disengage and the top plate will pivot up towards the back...it will have some resistance due to the heat paste but if you've gotten all the screws it will come up.

Hope that helps!
